Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities within the facility during your shift. The role requires ensuring care meets federal, state, and local standards and coordinating with the Director of Nursing as applicable.

Responsibilities include directing nursing services, updating policies, maintaining manuals and reference materials, and reporting on nursing operations to management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the tour of duty.
• Assist the DON/ADON in directing nursing services and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Maintain current reference materials and ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is up to date.
• Provide written and oral reports to the Director regarding the operation of the nursing service department.
