Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. The role requires ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and collaborating with the Director of Nursing and other leadership to maintain high-quality resident care.

The RN will direct nursing staff, participate in policy development, and contribute to quality assurance and discharge planning processes, while upholding professional standards and resident safety.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Direct nursing staff in accordance with applicable laws and facility policies.
• Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Manual and keep staff informed of changes.
• Participate in quality assurance and coordination with other resident services.
• Assist in planning discharge plans and coordinating with Care Plan Committee.
