Job summary

Fremont Hospital is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee patient care on assigned shifts and supervise RNs, LVNs, and MHTs. The RN will coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate and improve patient care in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

The role requires a California RN license, CPR with AED, and a minimum of three months in acute psychiatric care. Weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program; Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• California RN license in good standing (BRN) and CPR with AED certification.
• Minimum three months of experience in acute psychiatric health care preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all patient care activities during assigned shift and supervise other RNs, LVNs, and MHTs.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary care team to evaluate, plan, and adjust patient care.

Education
