Job summary

Fremont Hospital in Fremont, CA is hiring full-time Registered Nurses (RN) to provide comprehensive care for patients across the psychiatric spectrum. The RN will supervise and coordinate patient care during their shift, collaborating with RNs, LVNs, and MHTs.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited RN program and Associate Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum three (3) months in acute psychiatric health care preferred.
• Licensure: Active RN license in California; CPR with AED current.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all patient care activities during assigned shift.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Supervise RNs, LVNs, and MHTs.
• Report to Human Resources and leadership as required.

We are currently hiring for full-time Registered Nurses (RN).

The RN is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care activities through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary care team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The RN is responsible for complete oversight of all patient care activities during their assigned shift and will have supervisory responsibility for other RNs, LVNs, and MHTs.

Available Shifts:

PM shift (3pm-11:30pm)

NOC shift (11pm-7:30am)

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited RN program and Associate Degree in Nursing Required.Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) months experience in the acute psychiatric health care field is preferred.

Licensure & Certification:

• Currently maintains an active RN license in good standingissued by the California Board of Registered Nursing
• CPR with AED certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays, as scheduled.
