Advocate Health in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a part-time Nursing Supervisor for the Psychiatric unit. This role involves direct patient care coordination, staff supervision, and department operations support with a 24-hour-per-week schedule.

The RN must hold state licensure, a BSN is required, and BLS certification is necessary. Prior management experience is preferred, with potential for growth within a large health system.

Formación

• RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• BSN required.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• RN candidates without BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the manager to enhance nursing practice and department operations.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication at regular intervals through staff meetings/huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Rounds on patients, staff, and physicians to assess care quality and satisfaction.
• Delegates care tasks to appropriate healthcare workers.
• Identifies expected outcomes to guide continuity of care and department operations.
• Performs nursing care and administers medications as needed.
