Job summary

Atrium Health Kings Mountain is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide direct patient care and assist the nursing manager with daily operations. This role includes coordinating patient care/outcomes, allocating human and fiscal resources, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The position requires an RN license, BSN preferred, and at least two years of nursing experience with prior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required within policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and assist manager with daily operations.
• Coordinate patient care/outcomes and allocation of resources.
• Engage in staff development, rounds, and performance appraisal.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and hospital policies.
• Supervise nursing personnel and assist in staffing decisions.
• Monitor patient flow and throughput to maintain quality care.
