Job summary

Asbury Communities in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks an RN or BSN with active Pennsylvania license to join our per diem nursing team. Job Description

• Work with your colleagues to ensure 24‑hour continuity of care.
• Provide oversight of medical records in the electronic health record.
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
• Oversee the admission process of new or re‑admitted residents to the nursing care center, assuring resident assessment and documentation are complete and timely.
• Provide appropriate advice for medications or treatments by established policies.

Qualifications

• RN or BSN Degree from a school of professional nursing; license and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• RN experience for at least one year is required for per diem status.
• Active CPR certification.
