Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Weekender RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents on weekends.

The role includes leading CNAs/LPNs, processing admissions paperwork, and administering medications while adhering to all policies and state/federal regulations. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, a PA RN license, and CPR certification, with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays and one weekday evening.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Med/Surg, Rehab, or Geriatric nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtain and transcribe orders promptly; ensure telephone orders are complete.
• Notify physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.

Job Description

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
• Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday: 10:30 am – 11:00 pm; 1 weekday second shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience.
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.
