Job summary

Garden Spot Village is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff during the night shift (10:30 pm – 7:00 am). You will ensure high‑quality care, supervise resident care, and support residents’ health and safety each day.

The role requires an accredited Nursing degree and an active PA RN license, with experience supervising nursing staff. Garden Spot Village offers health insurance, 401K, tuition assistance, and a unique night‑shift pay structure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania (PA).
• Experience supervising nursing staff preferred.
• Knowledge of restorative nursing and infection control procedures.
• Must rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
• Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident information, including condition and family matters.
• Counsel certified nursing assistants and recommend personnel actions to the Director of Nursing Service as necessary.
• Observe and enforce infection control procedures related to nursing services.
• Ensure the safety of residents under your care or supervision.
• Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality by coming to work as scheduled.
• Work cooperatively with administration, nursing personnel, physicians, community agencies, residents, families, and consultants.
• Maintain a clean, neat uniform and professional appearance.
• Accept assigned duties cooperatively and assume accountability for responsibilities outlined in the employee handbook.
• Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct daily resident rounds and report nursing care status to the Director of Nursing Service and Administrator.
• Supervise the implementation of nursing rehabilitation and restorative programs.
• Assist with analysis of incident and accident investigation reports, determining causes and implementing corrective actions as appropriate.
• Complete residents’ MDS assessments and care plans in a timely manner, with follow‑up as needed.
• Review newly admitted residents and compare physician orders with care plans to ensure accurate implementation.
• Participate in the Quality Assessment and Assurance Program for the nursing department in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• May be required to work during emergency conditions (short staffing, severe weather, evacuation, post‑disaster, etc.)
• May be asked to work overtime to ensure adequate staffing

Additional Information

We have flexible night‑shift schedules 10:30 pm – 7:00 am with full‑time and part‑time options available.
