Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to provide administrative, operational, and clinical support across services in the facility during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will serve as the clinical resource, collaborate with medical staff, and ensure optimal patient care and environment at all times.

The role requires strong leadership, nursing expertise, and the ability to manage complex patient needs while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree requirements with RN licensure
• BLS certification preferred
• Clinical nursing experience 5–7 years required and lead nursing experience 2–3 years required

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care by applying the nursing process and providing guidance
• Ensure appropriate interventions for deteriorating patients, equipment issues, or disruptive behavior
• Act as off-shift patient care representative; address patient/family concerns
• Conduct rounds in patient care areas and set reporting expectations
• Coordinate with support services and clinical teams to meet patient needs and safety
