Job summary

Avamere Keizer in Keizer, OR is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring vital signs, wound care, staff training, documentation, and quality improvement.

Requires active RN license in Oregon and a nursing degree. BSN preferred; CPR/BLS current; experience in long-term care or sub-acute settings valued; EMR documentation

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Oregon.
• BSN preferred.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and or critical care settings.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor responses and document changes.
• Monitor vital signs and report concerns promptly to physicians.
• Collaborate on wound care with specialists to ensure optimal healing.
• Supervise and train LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation for new staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with residents, families, and colleagues.
