Job summary

Garden Spot Village seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to lead nursing services, supervise certified nursing assistants, coordinate care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance for a safe, compassionate resident environment.

You'll oversee daily resident rounds, implement rehabilitation and restorative programs, and partner with administration, physicians, and families to maintain high-quality care. Evening/night shifts are included with full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Experience supervising nursing staff preferred.
• Knowledge of restorative nursing, long-term care, and infection control procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Commitment to customer service, teamwork, and professional development.
• Must rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• May be required to work during emergency conditions (short staffing, severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
• May be asked to work overtime to ensure adequate staffing.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct
• Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident information, including condition and family matters
• Counsel certified nursing assistants and recommend personnel actions to the Director of Nursing Service as necessary
• Observe and enforce infection control procedures related to nursing services
• Ensure the safety of residents under your care or supervision
• Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality by coming to work as scheduled
• Work cooperatively with administration, nursing personnel, physicians, community agencies, residents, families, and consultants
• Maintain a clean, neat uniform and professional appearance
• Accept assigned duties cooperatively and assume accountability for responsibilities outlined in the employee handbook
• Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Conduct daily resident rounds and report nursing care status to the Director of Nursing Service and Administrator
• Supervise the implementation of nursing rehabilitation and restorative programs
• Assist with analysis of incident and accident investigation reports, determining causes and implementing corrective actions as appropriate
• Complete residents' MDS assessments and care plans in a timely manner, with follow-up as needed
• Review newly admitted residents and compare physician orders with care plans to ensure accurate implementation
• Participate in the Quality Assessment and Assurance Program for the nursing department in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Committee
