Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide supervision in the facility and direct the nursing staff, primarily in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an active Ohio RN license with CPR credentials and at least 1 year of long-term care experience. Point Click Care experience is a plus. Competitive wages, PTO, life insurance, and retirement benefits are included.

Formación

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• An active OHIO RN license and current CPR.
• At least 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care.
• Experience with Point Click Care is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Explain procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation and reduce apprehension.
• Maintain awareness of residents' comfort and safety needs.
• Communicate progress with family members.
• Chart all required information for residents.
• Supervise nurse aide staff and assist in orientation of new staff.
• Observe residents and document significant conditions and reactions to treatments.
• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards and policy.
• Initiate resident education plans per policy.
