Job summary

Stamford Care Center in Stamford, CT is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead the nursing team on assigned units and ensure exceptional resident care. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a supportive work environment.

You will oversee admissions, discharges, transfers, and daily EMR monitoring, while directing staff performance and ensuring compliance with care standards. Weekend involvement and on-call rotation are required.

Qualifications

• Connecticut RN license and LTC experience (1 year).
• Weekend work and on-call rotation every 3 weeks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced LTC setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct nursing staff on assigned units and monitor staff performance.
• Enter admissions, discharges, and transfers into EMR promptly.
• Monitor EMR dashboard, alerts, UDAs, and immunization entries.
• Conduct rounds to ensure high-quality care and identify improvement areas.
• Complete MDS for new admissions and review incident reports.
• Submit accident/incident reports within 48 hours of occurrence.
