Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing units and ensure quality of care within policies and parameters defined by the nursing department.
• Administer medications, document resident care, and implement schedules as needed.
• Participate in formulating, implementing, and interpreting nursing policies and procedures.
• Promote and evaluate staff adherence to all Nursing and Facility policies and procedures.
• Conduct rounds on assigned units, review chart documentation, and ensure admissions, discharges, and transfers are entered in the EMR.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality care and maintain a positive, professional work environment.
