Job summary

Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee a care unit, supervise nursing staff, and monitor patient care. A strong clinical background and administrative training are required.

Weekend availability is a must for this role. The RN Supervisor will lead daily chart audits, coordinate admissions, and liaise with families, physicians, and departments to ensure high-quality care and safety standards within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have current CT RN license.
• Must have experience in Long Term Care.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with treatment and medication administration.
• Assist with Admissions and patient transitions.
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings and rounds.
• Conduct daily audits of new admission charts.
• Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments.
• Investigate all incident reports and follow-up.
• Participate in managing staff and assignments to ensure quality of care.
• Participate in weekly risk meetings and report on patient conditions.
• Participate in annual evaluations of staff.

Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within a health care facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care. Extensive clinical experience a must, prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration. We currently have multiple positions available.

Must have weekend availability.
