Carolinas Medical Center Mercy - Nursing: 4 South is seeking a full-time RN for 36 hours per week in Charlotte, NC. The role supports nursing leadership, ensures compliant practice, coordinates staffing, and oversees patient care delivery in a 4 South unit.

This position requires BSN and active RN licensure, with BLS per policy. Essential duties include supervising nursing staff, coordinating communication during shifts, and ensuring adherence to federal/state regulations while maintaining

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN is required.
• BLS certification required within policy guidelines.
• RN candidates without BSN must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 3 years.

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Facilitates staff communication through meetings and huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care and operations.
• Delegates care elements to appropriate healthcare workers.
• Identifies expected outcomes to direct continuity of care and operations.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and disseminates updates to the team.
