Responsibilities

• Assumes primary responsibility for effective supervision of nursing activities of assigned area(s).
• Oversees daily operations of a Nursing department on a 24-hour basis.
• Implementing and monitoring programs for safe and efficient quality nursing care.
• Ensure consistent application of nursing services policies and standards.
• Monitor patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care.
