Job summary

Allendale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a full-time evening shift (3PM-11PM). You will lead nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee daily operations to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in New Jersey.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, staff, and regulators.
• Solid knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritizing care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
