Job summary

Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced RN or LPN to join our team as Evening Nursing Supervisor. This hands-on leader will guide nursing staff on the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, promoting quality care and resident safety.

Active Florida license and at least 2 years in long-term care are required; supervisory experience is preferred. You will collaborate with the DON/ADON, conduct rounds, ensure policy compliance, and foster teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license authorizing practice in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Previous nursing supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound judgment and the ability to recognize and promptly escalate issues.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Collaborate with the DON and ADON to maintain effective nursing operations and consistent standards of care.
• Conduct nursing rounds to monitor care delivery, identify concerns, and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Monitor staff adherence to facility policies, procedures, and assigned responsibilities.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the appropriate RN, provider, and care team members.
• Promote clear communication, teamwork, and accountability among nursing staff.
• Assist with facility surveys, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform assigned duties within the scope of the applicable RN or LPN license.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $27–$40 per hour
