Job summary

Meadow View Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor for the overnight shift from 7pm to 7:30 am to lead a cohesive nursing team in a geriatric care setting.

Qualifications

• Compassionate working with geriatric patients.
• Preferred Nursing experience in LTC or skilled nursing facilities.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
• Act as liaison between physicians, hospitals, families and medical staff to ensure the care plan is followed.
• Perform daily resident visits to monitor status and direct nursing activities accordingly.
• Supervise nursing service personnel and ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered.
• Demonstrate independent thinking, staff supervision, and teamwork for resident good.

We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) to join our collaborative team for our overnight shift 7pm-7:30 am.

Qualifications:

RN Supervisor job duties include:

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident
• Take on the role of liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members and other medical personnel to ensure resident plan of care is followed.
• RN must make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status and to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
• Supervise other nursing service personnel and ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are being administered as ordered by the physician.
• RN must be able to demonstrate the ability to think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident.
