Job summary

Chandler Hall Health Svcs is seeking an RN Supervisor to provide person-centered care for residents at Friends Nursing Home in Newtown, PA. The role oversees nursing staff, ensures quality care, and supports the facility’s broad service lines for aging residents.

The position is full-time, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM on weekdays with every-other-weekend coverage and shift differential. A competitive benefits package is offered along with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current license held in Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse.
• 2–3 years RN experience required.
• Long term care experience strongly preferred.
• Must maintain CPR/AED certification.
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clinical skills for resident population and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Oversee daily operations during day shifts and every other weekend.
• Coordinate care plans and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain CPR/AED certification and model professional nursing practice.

We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate RN Supervisor to provide person centered care to meet the social, physical, recreational, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents in our Friends Nursing Home.

This is a full-time, 8-days biweekly, role from M-F 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and every other weekend (shift differential!) The RN Supervisor will be on the desk.

Education, Experience and Competencies

• Current license with the State of Pennsylvania for Registered Nurse.
