Job summary

Deer Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an RN Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role requires adherence to current Federal, State, and Local standards, and close collaboration with the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification required.
• Current Virginia RN license required.
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills required.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor desired.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess and plan patient care.
• Prepare and administer medications and document as prescribed.
• Educate patients on procedures and record vitals and medical information.
• Monitor equipment and interpret displays to ensure patient safety.
• Initiate corrective actions when adverse symptoms arise.
• Provide bedside care for a wide range of patients, including pre- and post-surgery.
• Assist with discharge planning and documentation.
