Job summary

Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center (DMRC) seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for weekend coverage. The role oversees a team of nurses and aides, ensuring high-quality resident care and effective care plans.

You will participate in rounds, collaborate with the care team, and provide leadership while maintaining records. Requirements include PA RN licensure and prior weekend healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration as a nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in healthcare with emphasis on weekend coverage.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs to ensure quality patient care
• Develop and implement care plans for residents
• Conduct rounds to monitor care quality and identify improvements
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in on-call rotations and address issues outside regular hours
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff
• Maintain accurate records and reports
