Job summary

Eastern Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards. The role requires licensure, CPR, and effective communication with the care team.

The position involves assessments, treatments, and medication administration, plus supervision of LPNs and CNAs. Excellent documentation and infection control adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
• 1–3 years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to physicians and the care team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Document nursing care, treatments, and resident responses in medical records.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
