Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Outpatient Transplant and Cellular Therapy seeks a Full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee an ambulatory infusion pod for transplant and cellular therapy patients. The role includes supervising safe nursing care, rounds, teaching, and guidance during emergencies in a 7-day-a-week operation.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program completion, RN license, 3 years of clinical and management experience, BLS, and oncology experience/certification

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Three years clinical experience with management abilities.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred.
• Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow procedures, spinal taps, thoracenteses, and phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises safe, efficient nursing care in line with standards and policies.
• Assesses delivery of patient care, teaches patients and families, identifies problems and improves care.
• Participates in patient care as needed and assists in emergencies; supports families and handles end-of-life disposition.
