Qualifications

• Active California RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role.
• Admissions experience in SNF preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, local SNF regulations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to nursing staff during shifts.
• Oversee clinical operations, staffing, assessments, and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Support admissions by completing clinical assessments and coordinating transitions.
• Act as resource for staff, offering guidance and training.
• Respond to emergencies, address family concerns with professionalism.
• Monitor infection control, meds administration, and care planning.
• Maintain accurate records and reports per policies and regulations.
