Job summary

Oceanside Care Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to join our Supervising team. The role focuses on coordinating resident care, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and maintaining high-quality services.

Responsibilities include initiating admissions assessments for new residents or hospital returns, coordinating the admission process with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting the Director of Nursing as a key member of the Nursing Management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Acute Care/ Long Term Care Nursing.
• Leadership qualities and administrative competency.
• Reliable for attendance and punctuality.
• Strong organizational and communications skills with all levels of staff.
• Must be computer literate.

RN (Registered Nurse) responsible to the Director of Nursing for the coordination and quality of care and services to residents in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards and regulations. Initiate admissions assessments on new Residents/hospital returns. Review PRI's & coordinate components of the admission process with the interdisciplinary team She/He is a member of the Nursing Management team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience in Acute Care/ Long Term Care Nursing
• Clinically knowledgeable and capable of making appropriate care and service decisions.
• Leadership qualities and administrative competency or demonstrates the potential for this.
• Reliable for attendance and punctuality.
• Strong organizational and communications skills with all levels of staff and disciplines within the organization
• Flexibility for schedule and duties within the department and adaptable to changing situations.
• Must be computer literate.
