Oceana Healthcare Center in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations across shifts, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff. This leadership role supports admissions, coordinates assessments, and drives high-quality resident care in a 24/7 skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate will have California RN licensure, 2+ years in skilled nursing with supervisory experience, and a solid grasp of SNF regulations.

Qualifications

• Current, active California RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role.
• Admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local SNF regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate resident care.
• Oversee clinical operations during assigned shifts, including staffing, resident assessments, and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Support the admissions process by completing clinical assessments, reviewing referral packets, and coordinating smooth resident transitions.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and problem-solving support.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, family concerns, and resident needs with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor infection control, medication administration, and care planning to ensure best practices are followed.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and reports in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
