Job summary

Genesis HealthCare Laureldale location seeks a Full Time RN Supervisor for 3p-11p or 11p-7a shifts to support the Director of Nursing and ensure efficient nursing care. You will oversee clinical operations, mentor staff, coordinate with departments, and help sustain high-quality outcomes.

You will participate in staff recruitment, orientation and promotions while ensuring adequate staffing and safe 24/7 coverage, with a focus on minimizing overtime and agency use. Salary range is posted.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Education

RN licensure by State Board of Nursing

BSN preferred
