Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing and lead the clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shifts. You’ll ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and patient/family satisfaction.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure. A minimum of three years of clinical experience, including two in long-term care and one year in a supervisory role; BSN preferred; CPR/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure.
• Minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience; two years in long-term care with supervisory experience.
• BSN degree preferred; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for 24/7 care while minimizing overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, mentoring, and recommendations for promotions or terminations.
