Job summary

Long Beach Healthcare Center in California is seeking an RN Supervisor to coordinate administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and timeframe, ensuring an effective and efficient environment for residents, family, and staff.

You will oversee nursing operational standards, report on productivity, quality metrics, inform families about procedures, and handle complaints while fostering a compassionate environment for patients and loved ones.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of direct care experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or RN program required.
• California RN license in good standing and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and timeframe.

RN Supervisor Summary

The RN Supervisor coordinates the administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and time frame to ensure an effective and efficient environment for residents, family, and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing operational standards are met
• Provide reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metrics
• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions
• Handle complaints or other issues
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family, and friends
• Keep records of nurses' files, patients' cases, and procedures
• Handles Admissions
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required
• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California
• Current valid CPR certification required

Salary Range: $55-56/hr*

*The salary range is the one that Long Beach Healthcare Center reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual salary will depend on several factors (e.g., experience, educations, qualifications, etc.).
