Mariner Healthcare in San Jose, CA is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to plan, coordinate and manage clinical services for a nursing unit in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
You will supervise nursing staff, assess systems for quality resident care, develop care plans, provide health education, ensure regulatory compliance and respond to emergencies as needed.
In conjunction with the DON, plans, coordinates and manages the clinical services for a specified nursing unit. Responsible
for the coordination and of nursing care and services provided to Residents in the various units and is responsible for
facilitating the interdisciplinary team.

Supervises nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
May be required to respond to critical issues on a 24/7 basis. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee will occasionally assist to lift and / or transfer patients weighing between 100 to 250 pounds. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident’s protected health information. Monitors and oversees facility’s efforts to comply with company policies, procedures and state and federal law. SALARY RANGE: $55.00 to $60.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
