Job summary

WeCare at Rolling Meadows is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team on the 7pm–7am shift, providing compassionate leadership and ensuring resident-focused care with clinical excellence.

You will supervise staff, coordinate admissions and physician orders, administer medications per policy, mentor LPNs and CNAs, and drive quality improvement while maintaining regulatory compliance and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care.
• Assess resident conditions and respond to changes in health status.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, physician orders, and interdisciplinary care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Provide coaching, education, and clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection prevention standards, and company policies.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote a positive, collaborative work environment focused on resident outcomes and employee engagement.
