Hc is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the night shift at a Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Sleepy Hollow, NY. The role focuses on overseeing nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, and guiding RNs, LPNs, and CNAs through overnight challenges.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, leadership, and organizational skills, with a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced overnight environment.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
• RN Supervisor or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or Rehabilitation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the night shift.
• Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely intervention when changes occur.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure medications, treatments, and physician orders are carried out appropriately.
• Review and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and significant changes in resident condition.
• Conduct rounds and monitor resident care and safety.
• Address staffing issues, call-outs, and clinical concerns during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and federal requirements.
• Communicate important clinical and operational information to the incoming leadership team.
• Assist with incident investigations, quality initiatives, and survey readiness.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
