Job summary

Join our team at Orchard Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as an RN Supervisor! We offer Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities with shifts from 11pm-7am and every other weekend 7am-7pm.

This role involves ensuring residents receive safe and effective care, while promoting a positive work environment. Responsibilities include providing clinical oversight, monitoring resident conditions, and maintaining compliance with care plans.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in Maryland.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws.

$40 - $52 / hour (all inclusive)

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Maryland
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
