Job summary

Orchard Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Towson, MD is seeking an RN Supervisor for full-time or part-time roles. Shifts include 11pm–7am and 7am–7pm (every other weekend). Compensation ranges from $40–$52 per hour, all inclusive.

The RN will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, and ensure care plans and physician orders are followed. Must have MD RN license and BLS; 2+ years of nursing experience; training provided for supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD RN license required (unencumbered)
• Valid BLS certification (CPR) required
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting
• Minimum of 2+ years nursing experience; no prior supervisory experience required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care to ensure safe, effective, timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff on assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families about changes in condition or needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Maryland
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
