Job summary

Springfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a part-time evening shift (End of Week) 11pm-7am. The role provides clinical leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports nursing staff to deliver safe, compassionate resident care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active PA RN license with a current BLS CPR certification and at least 2 years of nursing experience. Training is provided, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to standards in a 90-bed

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of PA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
