Job summary

Beachside Post Acute in Torrance, CA is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations and ensure quality resident care. You will administer meds, monitor vitals, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team under the Director of Nursing.

The role requires CA RN licensure, a nursing degree, and at least 1 year of skilled nursing or acute care experience. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid and current RN license in the state of California.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting.
• Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting changes in residents' conditions.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists.
• Ensuring that documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educating residents and families about their healthcare needs and treatments.
• Responding to emergencies and providing first aid as needed.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility.
