Job summary

Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team and help ensure excellent resident care and effective nursing operations.

The RN Supervisor will work closely with the Director of Nursing, oversee nursing services during the assigned shift, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication, organization, and clinical judgment required for RN Supervisor role.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in long-term care or geriatric settings is preferred.
• Active Florida RN license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and resident care during the assigned shift.
• Supervise and support nursing and nursing assistant staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Make nursing and aide assignments based on resident and staffing needs.
• Monitor resident care and nursing documentation.
• Ensure medications, medical supplies, and equipment are adequately available.
• Assist with resident assessments and care planning.
• Address staff, resident, and family concerns appropriately.
• Promote staff education, teamwork, and professional development.
• Communicate important clinical and staffing updates to the Director of Nursing

The RN Supervisor works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee nursing services and daily operations during the assigned shift. This position provides leadership and support to nursing staff while ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and resident care during the assigned shift




• Supervise and support nursing and nursing assistant staff




• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies




• Make nursing and aide assignments based on resident and staffing needs




• Monitor resident care and nursing documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing




• Current, active Florida RN license in good standing




• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, restorative, or geriatric care




• Minimum 1 year of nursing supervisory or management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility




• Current CPR certification




• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills




• Must meet all applicable state licensing and certification requirements

This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
