Job summary

Asbury Communities in Gaithersburg, MD seeks an RN with a long-term care background to join our team. This role offers $43.60-$53.68/hour, with potential shift differential based on schedule.

Qualifications

• RN or BSN Degree from a school of professional nursing.
• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing.
• Experience as an RN Charge Nurse or other supervisory position in Aging Services.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with your colleagues to ensure 24-hour continuity of care.
• Provide oversight of medical records in the electronic health record.
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
• Oversee the admission process of new or re-admitted residents to the nursing care center, assuring resident assessment and documentation are complete and timely.
• Provide appropriate advice for medications or treatments by established policies.
