Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. in Maryland seeks a Registered Nurse for the night shift (11 PM–7 AM) with rotating weekends to join a long-term care team. You will ensure 24-hour continuity of care and contribute to resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities include medical records oversight, resident assessments, and guidance on medications under established policies. A current Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• RN or BSN Degree from a school of professional nursing
• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing
• Experience as a RN Charge Nurse or other supervisory position in Aging Services
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• Active CPR certification

• Work with your colleagues to ensure 24-hour continuity of care.
• Provide oversight of medical records in the electronic health record.
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
• Oversee the admission process of new or re-admitted residents to the nursing care center, assuring resident assessment and documentation are complete and timely.
• Provide appropriate advice for medications or treatments by established policies.
