Job summary

Asbury Communities is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a long-term care setting in Gaithersburg, MD. The position offers competitive hourly pay and shift differentials depending on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have an RN or BSN, a Maryland RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of RN experience for per diem status. This is a hands-on role focused on patient care, documentation, and collaboration with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues to ensure 24-hour continuity of care.
• Provide oversight of medical records in the electronic health record.
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
• Oversee the admission process of new or re-admitted residents to the nursing care center, assuring resident assessment and documentation are complete and timely.
• Provide appropriate advice for medications or treatments by established policies.
