Job summary

Park Avenue Extended Care is seeking a Part-Time RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and ensure high-quality care for residents during evening and overnight shifts. Location: Long Beach, NY.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, liaison with Unit Manager, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requires NY RN license and BLS/CPR; infection control and mandatory reporting training preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NY RN license.
• BLS/CPR Certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• Infection Control Certificate required.
• NYS Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
• Oversee implementation of resident care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and Unit Manager.
• Review daily patient conditions, occurrence reports, and handle medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare nursing care statistics.

Location: Long Beach, New York

Shift: Part-Time (Evening & Overnight)

Salary: $55/hour
