Job summary

WorkFit Medical in Waterloo, NY is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to provide clinical leadership for the evening shift and oversee nursing staff. Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a Long Term Care setting.
• Supervisor/clinical lead experience over multiple units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
• Monitor resident/patient care and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
• Respond to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Conduct rounds and assess residents/patients for changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and medication administration.
• Assist with staffing, assignments, and maintaining shift coverage.
• Promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to staff while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Address clinical concerns and resolve issues during the shift.
