Job summary

Park Avenue Extended Care in Long Beach, NY is seeking a Part-Time RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership for evening and overnight shifts. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure adherence to care plans, and coordinate with the Unit Manager to maintain high patient care standards.

The ideal candidate holds an active New York RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and infection control training, with prior nursing home experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (AHA or ARC).
• Infection Control Certificate.
• NYS Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training Certificate.
• Nursing Home experience preferred.
• SigmaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
• Oversee implementation of resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and Unit Manager.
• Review daily patient conditions, occurrence reports, and handle medical emergencies.

Salary: $55/hour
