Job summary

WorkFit Medical in Waterloo, NY is seeking a compassionate, experienced RN Supervisor to join our healthcare team for evening shifts. You will provide clinical leadership to ensure high-quality resident care and support the nursing staff.

The RN Supervisor will monitor care plans, respond to changes in condition, communicate with physicians and families, and ensure compliance with regulations. Strong leadership, teamwork, and sound clinical judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nurse experience in a Long Term Care setting.
• Supervisor/clinical lead experience over multiple units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a nursing team.
• Independent, sound clinical decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
• Monitor resident/patient care and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
• Respond appropriately to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Conduct rounds and assess residents/patients for changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and medication administration.
• Assist with staffing, assignments, and maintaining appropriate shift coverage.
• Promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to staff while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Address clinical concerns and assist with resolving issues that arise during the shift.
