Job summary

Pepperdine University seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and perform a wide range of back-office and patient-care duties in the Student Health Center. The RN will ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain EHR records, and support the clinic’s mission with Christian values in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include triage, phlebotomy, immunizations, injections, lab processing, and vaccine clinic support. California RN licensure and BLS required; 2+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 2 years of related nursing experience.
• California RN license (unrestricted).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate back-office clinic operations and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Triage patients, perform basic nursing procedures, and assist with examinations.
• Manage lab specimen handling, storage, and documentation.
• Maintain immunization records and support vaccine clinics.
