Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2 years of related experience.
• Valid, unrestricted California Board of Registered Nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
• Nursing duties to include phlebotomy, immunizations, injections, ear lavage, bandaging, splinting, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical medical information into understandable formats for patient care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to maintain professionalism amidst competing demands.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise cultural competency, good judgment, and strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• The Registered Nurse must have a personal faith in Jesus Christ, active involvement in a local church, and demonstrate support for the Christian mission of the University—seeking to help students develop lives of purpose, service, and leadership.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, nursing/case management theory, nursing protocols, medical procedures, and standard charting practices.

• Ensure compliance with county, state, and federal medical office mandates.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while supporting clinic operations.
