Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a RN Quality Stroke Coordinator to lead and coordinate the Stroke Program in collaboration with the Stroke Medical Director. The role involves monthly meetings, policy development, and data reporting to Quality and benchmarking agencies to improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3–5 years in ICU or ED settings, demonstrating strong leadership and educational skills to advance stroke

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred, ICU or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and grow the Stroke Program with the Stroke Medical Director through interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Lead monthly Stroke Program meetings to evaluate outcomes, develop policy and protocol, and review current best practices.
• Provide leadership to enhance the Stroke Program through networking and ongoing education.
• Coordinate process-improvement activities and follow-up across departments to improve performance outcomes.
• Track, report, and submit hospital Stroke data to Quality Department and benchmarking agencies; collaborate with healthcare team and patients during hospitalization.
